Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
UNICOM is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Data controller
The data controller is UNICOM SARL (RCS Paris 481 647 386), 31 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France.
For any question about your data: support@uni-com.fr.
2. Data we collect
We only collect data you provide, depending on the channel used:
- Contact form: name, email, company, phone, subject and message.
- Quote request: name, email, company, phone, area, services, budget, timeline, project type and description.
- Newsletter: email address (with double opt-in confirmation).
- Assistant (chatbot): the content of the messages you type; if you ask to be contacted, your email and optional name.
- Technical data: IP address and server connection logs, for security purposes.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiries and preparing quotes: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest.
- Sending the newsletter: your consent (withdrawable at any time).
- Running and improving the assistant: legitimate interest, with a limited retention period.
- Site security: legitimate interest.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is intended for UNICOM teams. We use technical processors:
- Email: IONOS (notification and confirmation emails).
- Website hosting: OVHcloud SAS (servers in France, European Union).
- Audience measurement: Google (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), Google Ireland Limited — enabled only with your consent; some data may be transferred outside the European Union, governed by standard contractual clauses.
- Conversational assistant: Anthropic, PBC (United States), maker of the Claude model. The content of your exchanges with the assistant is sent to Anthropic to generate responses. This transfer outside the EU is governed by standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention periods
- Contact and quote requests: up to 3 years after the last exchange.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, then deleted.
- Assistant conversations: 30 days maximum, then automatically deleted.
- Server technical logs: limited period set by the host.
6. Cookies and trackers
The site uses no advertising cookies. For audience measurement we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager): these cookies are only set after your consent, collected through the banner shown on your first visit. Google Consent Mode v2 prevents any cookie from being set until you accept. You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page. The assistant keeps your current conversation in your browser’s memory (sessionStorage), cleared when you close the tab — this is not a cookie. A technical session cookie is used only for the non-public admin area.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access, rectification and erasure of your data.
- Objection to and restriction of processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time (notably for the newsletter, via the unsubscribe link).
- Setting instructions on the fate of your data after your death.
8. Exercising your rights
To exercise your rights, email us at support@uni-com.fr. We reply within one month.
If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. Data collected via forms and the assistant is stored outside the web root and is not publicly accessible.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The last update date appears at the top of the page.
